July or October?

Not much is new, not much is happening. Just plugging away with the normal routine of things. We are having summer weather here. A high of 25 feeling like 29, and tomorrow is to be the same. It's strange to be wearing shorts and tank tops in October. I really don't feel like I have anything to say, so that's all for now.

but this is Kaitlyn's spelling test she had last Friday. She said she was the only one to get 100% We are so proud of you Kaitlyn, way to go!

School's Back In

Sorry for the sideways pic, not sure why it's doing that. Kaitlyn started Grade 2 this year. Summer went really fast, but it's good to be getting back into the regular routines. She was so excited the first day, she was up early and she did all her chores before I could ask her. She was all gung ho :) Her teacher seemed nice, but on Friday she came home with all her supplies and everything and a note that said that she's going to be changing classes starting Monday. She was originally in a 2/3 split but I guess they have more staff and there is only going to be 1 split class in the whole school. So I guess it's a good thing. She will now be in her friends class, so she's excited about that. On a bad note, the other day I got stung by a bee for the very first time, not too thrilled about that ;) At least I now know that I am not allergic to them, so that's good :) We just got back from a walk, but I think I should go spend some time with the kiddies :) I hope to post more often now that we are back into routines. Ok, bye for now.

Outside Fun

The kids had a blast playing in the water sprinkler this summer. We had fun too watching them :)

Our new ride

We got a 2001 Chrysler Neon just yesterday as our old car had so much wrong with it and it failed emissions/aircare twice. We thought it was not worth it to fix it up, so we decided to go and look for something a bit newer :) So far so good, it even has working air, which is soo nice when it is hot out. Our other car, you would just be sweating with how hot it got. Kaitlyn is quite excited to have a new car too. She wants to sit in it whenever we're outside.
