Catching up on my blog

I know I haven't posted in like forever. There hasn't been too much new going on in my life. Just the normal busy life of having two small children. Kaitlyn is still going to Kindegarten and having fun. It's hard dropping her off lately as she is saying "I want you to come, I'm going to miss you, I am going to miss William, I am going to miss daddy." She is going to miss all of us, it's nice when they say that, but when you are trying to get her to go to school and she's only in Kindegarten, she still has a ways to go. They grow up so fast. Well they are both in bed, I think I am going to go have a nice warm bath and read a new Karen Kingsbury book that I haven't read yet. So far it's living up to her other books. She is the best author ever. I am hooked right from the first word. She really does have a gift of writing and she has good messages in there too. You should try some of her books sometime and I'm sure you'll be hooked too. Tata for now.

Our two Children

These are some updated photos of our two lovely children. I am trying to take lots of pictures because they are only young for such a short time. William is already four months old and he is changing so much so fast.

Eating an oreo

William eating a yummy yummy oreo cookie. He is getting to be such a big boy.

Just kidding

the long weekend

Well, we had a pretty uneventful long weekend. My husband was home, but we decided to just veg at home. Although we did go over to my in-laws to celebrate my Grandma-in-laws Birthday. She turned 82. We got to BBQ even though it was on the cool side, and there were lots of bugs, so we ate inside. Good burgers! Sunday afternoon all three of them had a nap. My husband, William and yes Kaitlyn. Then she even went to bed like a good girl. No complaining when told "time to sleep" That was a nice treat instead of the constant excuses and coming out of bed all the time. It's enough to drive you crazy. But you gotta love em'

I am also friends with her mom Kathy, we are getting together with them tomorrow along with Cora Lauren's Brother, Rhys. I am quite excited as is Kaitlyn. She has been asking me how many more sleeps till we see Cora Lauren, Kathy, and Rhys? Only one more Kaitlyn.

Happy, Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, especially you mom. Being a mother is the hardest jobs ever, but it is the most rewarding. One cute thing about having kids school age, is Kaitlyn has been talking about Mother's Day for the past 2 weeks. I would ask her what she did at school and her reply is "I can't tell you, it's about Mother's Day" It is so cute, she came home on Wednesday with her gift (as she doesn't have school on Friday) and she says I can't look in her backpack because it was in there and then she had to go hide it in her room somewhere. I know I will love whatever she makes. I am quite excited to see what she has made me :) My husband is working this weekend so it'll be just me and the kids. I'll probably make a nice dinner for me :) Well for all of us, but hey I enjoy cooking and baking. Anyway, Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Sleeping Through The Night?

Well, William has slept through the night for 4 nights in a row!!!! Could this be the start of sleeping through the night for good? I sure hope so. Kaitlyn when she was around 3 months slept through the night for a week and then stopped, so I guess time will tell. It would be really good if he did keep it up.

A Tease?

Well, I am so excited, William has slept through the night. He ate at 7:30pm and was put to bed at 8pm, he didn't wake up until 7:30am. He sleeps in the same room as us, so I hear every little noise, so I was up a few times thinking he was getting up, but hey he slept through the night. We'll see how long it lasts for. He's probably just teasing me, and tonight he'll be up to eat. How peaceful they look when they are sleeping.

A Bit About Me

I have been married since September 18, 1999. We have two lovely children. Our oldest is Kaitlyn and she was born December 13, 2000. And we have William born January 20, 2006. We have a millionaires family. I stay at home with our children, although Kaitlyn has started school this year so she goes Mondays, Wednesdays and every other Friday. They are full days so I have William to myself those days. My husband works 12 hour shifts so the days that he's home are nice. But hard when he works the 3 days in a row. Nothing much exciting happening in my life, just the usual.

Precious Moments

Isn't she precious?

Ewww Gross!!

Today I walked Kaitlyn to school again, as I try to every day that she goes, it was so nice out and we were enjoying our walk, and guess what we seen? .......

Well we were walking through the short cut we usually take, which is a short trail that goes past a small park and we see this guy he is bent over, right near the playground and he is throwing up, it was so disgusting. GAG me!

It makes me think of how times have changed and walking to school isn't as safe as it used to be with all the crazzies out there. We need to be so diligent in watching our children, it's scary to think about. What a responsiblity we have as parents to raise up our children and keep them safe. Anyhoo, just something I was thinking about on the way home.

My Cute Kids

This is Kaitlyn(5) and William(2months) taken out West while visiting friends and family.

New At This

My friend Nicole has got me blogging now, so we will see how I do :) Today was a very nice day. I walked my 5 year old daughter to school and walked to pick her up again, it was so nice to get out and enjoy the outdoors. It is so fun to watch Kaitlyn so intrigued with everything. On the way to school we stopped to look at a few snails we found on the way, it got me thinking about how beautiful God made the world and everything in it. It's not like the west coast mountains, but there are some beautiful flowers, trees and snails.
