Packing

I can't believe I forgot how much work it is moving. I have already started to pack as with little kids you just never know and I also want to go through everything and try to organize it a little better so that when we do move it'll go much more smooth. I also can't believe how much stuff we have accumulated. We've been here for about 4 years and we have collected too much stuff. I want to get rid of a bunch of stuff if we can. Both kids have been quite patient with all the boxes we have around, flat and filled. I don't have too many filled yet, but I know it'll get more cramped in here, at least until I go into the storage closet and take out some stuff from there and then put the packed boxes in there I think. Sorry for going on and on. I'll stop now. :) I better get going though, again, kids call.

6 Months Old

William turned 6 months old July 20. I haven't had a chance to post, but I was also waiting to put pictures up, but my dear old husband hasn't had a chance to put the software for the camera on yet, so again you will be without pictures :( I will get some on here as soon as possible. Poor William had his needles last Thursday :( I always feel so bad when they have to get those, but at least they are fairly quick and then they seem to forget about them. He now weighs 18lbs 4oz and he is 26 1/2 inches long. He is just growing, growing, growing. Guess what time he woke up this morning? 5:30am ahhhh!!! Too Early!!!! The little stinker :) I should go, he is getting grumpy, probably from being up too early. Ahhhh!!!! I hate early mornings if you couldn't tell :)

Moving!!!!

Well, we are moving. October 1. We went to look at the couple places today and we went with a four bedroom. The first one we looked at was a four bedroom as well, but we didn't like it too much. One was the stairs, they creaked like anything and then also for the dining area, it was all carpet, which we have right now and it does NOT work too well with kids :) Then the place we are taking, we thought was a 3 bedroom, but it is a 4 bedroom. There they have a kitchen where you can eat and it is NOT carpet :) Yeah!!!! The only thing I am not too happy about is that there is only 2 bedrooms upstairs and the other 2 are downstairs, so Kaitlyn is going to be downstairs as William is still quite young. But the tenents that are in there right now have made an extra room down there with wood flooring, so we are actually getting a 5 room place. It will be quite the change from being in a small 2 bedroom appartment. Anyway, gotta go, kids are in need of Mommy.

HEAT WAVE

We are having a heat spell here. It is 30 feeling like 40. I am so thankful for the window air conditioner, it just makes it that much more comfortable. In our place the sun comes shining through the windows during the hottest part of the day, all afternoon and the evening. Before we had the airconditioner, Kaitlyn and I would be soaking dish towels in ice cold water and putting them around our necks, that made a big difference. The air conditioning is much, much better :) I am not one for the heat. My favorite season is the fall. The weather is much more comfortable, not too hot or too cold. Well, gotta go, thought I had a few more minutes but Kaitlyn has finished playing with her cars and is ready to read a story before heading off to bed. William just went to bed a few minutes ago yeah!!!! Time to relax soon. I might do some cross stitching, and some reading. Till the next time I post :)

Kids Say The Darndest Things

Today I put William into the jolly jumper, one of his favorite things to do, and one of Kaitlyn's favorite things to do. Well I look over and there is Kaitlyn under a blanket pretending to be a Ghost and was starting to get so close to William that he started swinging and that is not ok, so I said, Kaitlyn I want you to put that away and do you know what she said to me? How did you know it was me? Too cute :)

The Case of the BAAAAD Blogger

I know, I know, it's been almost a week since I last posted. I seem to have time to look at other blogs and not my own. I will try to make more of an effort to post more often. I have wanted to post new pictures but I can't put them from the camera to the computer yet. It should be soon, so I will post some then.

In some new news, we might be moving, still in the same city, but next week we are going to look at two places, one is a 3 bedroom and the other is a 4 bedroom. So we will see. It would be nice to have more space and it would be nice to have a backyard for the kids to play in, as we are right now in a 2 bedroom appartment. It does get a litte cozy here with all 4 of us in here. Right now William sleeps in our bedroom, so it would be nice to not have to hear his EVERY little movement. I have tuned him out somewhat, but I still get woken up by him when he's not awake yet. He is a very restless sleeper during some of his sleeping stages. Well, should get going, William will be up soon and Greg will be home soon and so my day begins :)

Back Online

Hey, we're back online again, I thought it was going to be all weekend long without the computer :) But Greg worked on it this morning and got the basic done so we can use the computer now. Although I won't be able to post pictures yet.

Kaitlyn had her first swimming lessons this morning. I think she did well. She was soooo excited. I have been wanting to put her in and I just kept procrastinating and then yesterday I finally called and they had one spot left, thank goodness, so she went this morning. She will be going every Saturday until September 2. She had lots of fun too. It was so embarrassing when we got there, we were a bit early as I was unsure of where to go and there were some others who were there early as well and all their kids were around 3 or 4 years old and Kaitlyn is 5 and she was the only one running around and not listening to me. She has so much energy and can't seem to sit still for long. But I couldn't believe her being the oldest one there and all the other kids were sitting so nicely with their parents and here Kaitlyn is running around like a mad child :) Oh well, I got over it. Having kids sure changes you. No modesty when giving birth, that's for sure. Anyway, got to go spend some one on one time with Kaitlyn as William is having a nap :) Who knows how long that'll last for.

Well, I will be out of a computer for the weekend or maybe a bit longer. Greg is formatting the computer. I will definetly be back when he is done.

Late To Bed, Early To Rise

William is supposed to be sleeping in the picture, as you can see he is not. Last night he decided to be awake until 10pm. Ahhhh!!!! Kaitlyn also decided to be awake until 9:30pm, then Kaitlyn was up at 6am, but she went to watch a movie so that was fine, but then at 6:30am, William had been stirring for a little bit and I had to pee soooo badly so I finally got up to go and when I came out, the light was on in our room and there was Kaitlyn standing beside the cradle talking to William, she had woke him up. So they were late to bed and early to rise. Got to love them :)

Changes in Routines

How can these two cute darlings be so frustrating! :)

On Saturday, William decided to have a four hour nap, and then decided to stay up until 8:30pm/9pm, and then he woke up at 11:45pm and was awake until 2am. Then he woke up at 5am ate and went back to sleep and then got up at 7:30am. I tell you, once you have a nice routine and can predict more what they are going to do, then they do something completely different. Last night was much nicer. He went to bed at 7pm and he slept until 7:40am, I think he was catching up from the night before so who knows what he is going to do tonight. He just went to bed, it's 7pm, so we'll see when he wakes up next.

Kaitlyn has been such a good big sister :) She is always entertaining William while he is in the jolly jumper. She is constantly wanting to hug or kiss him. She is rough even though she doesn't realize it. She means well, but sometimes hurts him. He is such an easy going baby, he just sits there and takes it, although he doesn't really have a choice :) Anyway, should get going and spend a bit of time with Kaitlyn before she heads off to bed and then free time for me yeah!!!
