Is Spring Coming?

Our snow is melting. I am so looking forward to spring. I like Winter and all, but Spring is just so nice. When it's not raining I try to get out for a walk. It feels so nice to get fresh air without freezing. I know the kids like getting out too. When I get out like that, I feel so much better, and I have so much more energy. Yesterday Greg and I got to go on a date. It was so exciting to have a break from both kids. We went for lunch and then went to a movie, although we didn't get to finish the movie as we had to be back for a certain time, it was heavenly to be out and not have to think about the kids in the back, make sure there is food and diapers etc... around. I love my kids and I love to be with them (most of the time :) But it was so nice to have a break. This was the first break from both of them I think in about a year. I've had breaks from one at a time a few times, but not both at once. So yeah, it was nice. On Saturday I am going over to a ladies house from our Church. We have wanted to get together for the longest time, we just never arranged it and she called yesterday evening and she invited me over along with a few other women from our Church for tea/coffee/dessert and to just have a nice evening together. The nice thing is that she lives about a 5 minute walk from our place. I am looking forward to it as I don't get out a whole lot. I get together with one of my other friends but between school and schedules it doesn't seem to happen a whole lot. So this came at a really good time as I have been feeling a bit lonely. Although it could have to do with monthly things as well :( (Sorry if that's too much info for you) I find I get more emotional at that time and tend to dwell more on the negative side, at least more than usual. Anyway, I am going to go. Greg and Kaitlyn went to a movie with a friend of his from work and his daughter and William is sleeping. I was going to clean house, but I think I'll just tidy up, figure out dinner and then just veg or maybe knit or a bath, that sounds nice too. The house is sooooo peaceful, it's nice.

Winter

Today the buses are not running again, so Kaitlyn is home today and all weekend. Greg is working this weekend so it's going to be very long. One good thing though is that Greg is working the day shift for a while, which is nice that he's home every night. One bad thing, I don't have the car whenever I want, but that's not a big deal :) I realized that I haven't posted in over a week. I can't believe it's been that long. I have been quite productive today as I have been up since 5:30am. I have chili in the crock pot for supper so that's taken care of, except for the bisuits I might make, or we might have toast, we'll see how the kids are behaving at that time of the day. William is walking pretty steady now and falling less frequently. He didn't have a nap yesterday which meant he was waking up a fair amount last night. I didn't get to sleep until 12. Kaitlyn was up too, to use the washroom, and then went back to bed. I don't know what was up with them last night. I know it was a change in routine having Greg get ready for work in the morning. During William's nap, provided he has one :) I will probably go out and shovel the driveway, hopefully it'll stop snowing/freezing rain. I should get going, kids are very quiet up stairs.
